This is my fifth year here at Wellington Christian School. My husband and I have been married for twenty-four years and have three children. My oldest daughter is a senior in college in Pennsylvania, while my younger daughter, a graduate of Wellington Christian is a junior at a university in North Carolina. Our son, Stephen, is a freshman at Lee University in Tennessee.
This is my fifteenth year as a school administrator having served in many capacities such as principal, assistant principal, academic supervisor, athletic director, and guidance counselor. My background includes experiences in teaching in public and private schools, administration in both profit and non-profit settings, and working in faith-based and non-faith based schools. I have also been a charter administrator in three schools during the first days they were open. These were some of the most exciting days of my career, as I was privileged to see a new educational opportunity be born. Early in my career, I was a guidance counselor in a men’s prison for a year. The Lord has allowed me to experience a wide range of situations all providing knowledge that I find helpful as I work in the administration at Wellington Christian.
Serving as principal at WCS is a true privilege. I’m a passionate educator who strives to integrate biblical principles into a strong academic curriculum. The Bible teaches us that God is in everything. I want God to be real to our students so that they will see God in math, science, English, Spanish, as well as all other areas. Complete biblical integration of every aspect will provide moral and spiritual guidance that will secure a brighter future for students at WCS. That is my prayer!
