Mary Beth is from Indiana and holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Marian College in Indianapolis. She taught third grade in Indianapolis and second grade in Miami. Mary Beth has been teaching at WCS since 1985 and has been teaching fifth grade since 1988. She was nominated by her peers for the Dwyer Teacher of Excellence Award in 1996. Mary Beth is in charge of the Safety Patrols at WCS and coaches the Math, Language Arts, and Social Studies Academic Games Teams. Mary Beth is married with three children and three grandchildren and enjoys antiquing, collecting salt and pepper shakers, and traveling.
