This is Mrs. Pereira’s fifteenth year here at Wellington Christian School, and God has blessed her life so richly here. She has been married for the last seventeen years to a wonderful man named Tim. They have two daughters: Jessica, age fourteen, and Kristina, age ten, who also attend Wellington Christian School. She had taught fourth grade for all fourteen years here. She has now moved over to middle school to teach, her passion, 6th - 8th grade science. Mrs. Pereira enthusiastically describes her experience at Wellington Christian School, “ I find it challenging, yet very rewarding. I especially love watching the students enthusiastically study God's creation through science.
She graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She is also certified to teach middle school through ninth grade. Over the last fourteen years here at WCS, she has enjoyed being team leader, mentor, and CSF (Christian Schools of Florida) spelling bee coach, among other things.
In her free time she enjoys dancing lessons. Many years ago, she danced for the ballet company Ballet Florida. She hopes to continue to live out the verse Psalm 149:3: “Let them praise His name with dancing!”
