Bachelor of Arts-Palm Beach Atlantic University
Specialization: Theatre and Secondary Education
This is my second year at Wellington Christian School. I am excited to be in a place that promotes a healthy environment for learning from a Christian perspective. For the past two years I have managed Curves, a women’s fitness facility. I taught at Dreyfoos School of the Arts in 2003, where I assistant directed Nine Armenians and Short Attention Span Theatre. My theatrical background includes performances in Look Homeward Angel, Othello, The Crucible, Handel’s Messiah, and Footloose. I completed backstage work on Barnum and The Importance of Being Earnest. I also designed makeup for the South Florida Fair’s production of Fright Nights.
In addition to my professional work, I have a passion to see the love and message of Jesus Christ brought forth through theatre. My background in this area includes directing EARL T Drama, a Christian performing arts group at Palm Beach Atlantic University, as well as co-directing DOXA, a student performing arts group at Christ Fellowship. I am excited to incorporate solid Christian drama into all my classes to be performed in chapel and at other WCS events. I am also eager to begin working with a new group of students for the fall and spring productions at WCS.
